Tweed Apparel Yarns

We hand-dye six types of Apaprel Yarn using our secret “tweed-dyeing” process, creating a multi-colored yarn which changes every 1 to 2 inches. We carry 10 Tweed Colors of each of 6 types of yarn: Brushed Mohair, Baby Loop, Jumbo Loop, Worsted, Thick n Thin and Superwash Sport. When knitted or woven the textile is more tweed-like than ordinary space-dyed yarn, which makes streaky patterns. And best of all, these yarns can be used as warp as well as weft, and are spectacular as knitting yarns.

We hand-dye our Solid Apparel Yarn in 4 lb. lots. So, be sure to order enough for your entire project.

This yarn can also be used for weaving, knitting, rug hooking, crocheting, etc.
